Satisfaction with services and selection. Today however I was shocked at the condition of the groomer's salon. It obviously hadn't been swept today and overall unkempt. Usually very neat.
*I have used the groomers a few times. The first two appointments went great. The last time my dog was in, whoever worked on him physically injured his hip and did a chop job on his coat. I had to take him to the vet for the injury and that ends my use of Petsense.
Among the fact that they have a LARGE selection for such a small store, they will go out of their way to get the food, medicines, treats, anything your baby needs. They really care about those animals in the doctor's office and grooming shop and spoil those precious kitties. They are angels!
I took my schnauzer to be shaved down and keep her schnauzer face. Her hair was so gapped up, part of her facial hair was shaved off vs the other side being fluffy. The girl I dropped her off with had 0 personality! Will not do them again
Seemed to have limited options as far as food/treats/supplies and seemed a bit high priced. There was only 1 employee working and I felt so bad. This poor girl was helping customers on the floor, answering the phones, running the one register, cleaning up an accident a dog left and running the ID tag machine. I think the turnoff here was the manager. He came out on the floor carrying a clipboard and just absent mindedly walked around the store. Instead of stepping up and helping his one employee who was going above and beyond to make sure everyone there was helped and found what they needed. He then proceeded to tell her things that needed to be done and disappeared. Seemed a bit unprofessional. Good job and kudos to the one girl holding it down.
Medium-sized location for a strip mall. They carry a good selection of quality cat foods (more than most) on top of the usual garbage at standard prices. The dog food is of course five times the floor space. The accessories section is large. They do not sell animals so the rest of their store is about the same volume as a pet supermarket but without the rewards program. If someone dropped one of the big boxes in this city then between that, the Walmart across the street, and the specialty shop, this place wouldn't survive long. But this is Shallotte we're talking about so that could be never.
