While heading to a meeting my check tire light came on. Black's Tire Shallotte was the nearest location. The manager Kyle promptly checked my pressure and corrected it issue. No road hazard was found so I was on my way in under ten minutes. This was done at no charge and done with a smile. That is what I consider GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Only 4 out of 5 stars because you have to make sure they put enough oil in your car or truck. They are notorious at least at this location for barely putting enough oil in your vehicle. I don't understand this as it can cause total engine failure. Please Black's Just put enough oil in our cars and charges for the oil it's very irresponsible to not put enough oil in a car.
Called on Monday looking for a specific tire. Was told they had them at their warehouse in whiteville and could have them later in the afternoon. Told them to go ahead and get the tires and I would come in Thursday morning first thing. Gave them my name and was quoted an amount. Arrived Thursday morning after driving 30 minutes only to be told they don't have the tires and never did get them. Was told their oleander location could get them today, only have to drive an hour to that location... terrible customer service and will spend my money elsewhere... will recommend elsewhere to friends and family as well.
Business often has a good wait time but they are fair and reasonable.
The staff were able to set me up an appointment on super short notice when orher places I tried were full til Thursday. Even though the prognosis for my car was not good, they were very polite and professional and at least I know what shape my car is in. I'll almost definitely be back. Give em a try!
