Nice spot. Food is okay. I don't love the enchiladas or tacos but the chicken nachos are bomb. Guac is good as well. Prices are good. The fried ice cream confused me a little. It is served ice cold, not freshly deep fried and brought to the table. They prepare and deep fry in advance and then place them back in the freezer. A little different from how everywhere else does it I guess.
Great good and lots of it. Only negative was the condition of the booth and table. Not comfortable.
This is probably my second favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Coastal Carolina. The food is always served fresh the chips and salsa are made right in the store and the staff is a tentative and very accommodating of special requests. The restaurant is kept very clean and has a fun upbeat Mexican environment. See my other posts for my top pic of Mexican restaurants in the area.
It has changed ownership a few times.. But at least top 2 Mex restaurant in Shallotte. When u ask them to go easy on the ice for house margaritas, they actually go easy
Done with this place. When they first opened they was amazing. Would go prob 2 times a week. Now were lucky if the order is even close to right. Everytime now that I order they just came seem to get a simple California burrito with shredded beef right. The last 3 times they gave me hamburger meet. Never again wasting money at this place.
